Andre arrived to our annual family Christmas party with this incredible instrument in tow. He was gifted it by a client of his, an elderly lady who had it tucked away in her attic for decades. It's a 1904 Martin mandolin. It's in incredible shape for its age and sounds just spectacular. It's a real work of art, and while I was excited to play it (my mando skills are pretty limited) I was more excited to photograph it. A real work of art.
